Owners Chris Lansdale and Sierra Rincones, with partner Patrick “Jersey” Denn, celebrate the opening of their third Beef O’Brady’s in Charlotte County.

Chris Lansdale, his fiancee Sierra Rincones and business partner Patrick “Jersey” Denn celebrated the opening of their third Beef O’Brady’s in Charlotte County with a ribbon-cutting Sept. 9.

The new restaurant is at Schoolhouse Square, 4300 Kings Highway in Port Charlotte. It joins their other two locations on Taylor Road in Punta Gorda and on Sandhill Boulevard in the Deep Creek section of Punta Gorda. What makes the new spot unique, Rincones said, is its focus on baseball and hockey broadcast packages.

The 4,000-square-foot restaurant features 15 75-inch televisions throughout and is decorated with sports memorabilia. Guests who don’t have access to NHL or MLB out-of-market games at home can watch them here.

The menu offers Beef O’Brady’s staples such as wings, Angus burgers, loaded nachos, Boom Boom shrimp, wraps and sandwiches, including ribeye steak, reuben and Cuban, plus Philly cheesesteaks and an array of salads. Meals are available for dine-in, pickup or third-party delivery.

Lansdale started in the food industry as a teenager and worked in restaurants for years before opening his own. He described himself as a “late bloomer,” but said the time spent learning from others gave him the skills to run his own business.

His first venture was also a Beef O’Brady’s, and since then he has expanded his portfolio. He is a partner with Pitmaster Jay and Sarah Cammarata, who operate Jay’s Smokin BBQ in Punta Gorda. Last winter, he and Denn launched Mayon, an Asian American restaurant specializing in Filipino cuisine, but it has since closed.

At the same time Lansdale pursued entrepreneurship, he decided to build a family. He and Rincones now have two children, ages 5 and 3. The couple said they have been too busy running restaurants and raising kids to plan a wedding.

Beef O’Brady’s on Kings Highway is open until football games end on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays. On other nights, hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
