Vicki Tracy, chief operating officer at Gulf Coast International Properties, shares three Naples restaurants she and her husband, Steve, return to for their cuisine, atmosphere and service.

Dining drives a significant part of the economy in Southwest Florida, where the hospitality sector is one of the region’s most dynamic and vital industries. As restaurants open, close and reinvent themselves from season to season, the dining scene reflects broader patterns of growth, risk and community sentiment.

In this recurring feature, Gulfshore Business asks a local business or civic leader to name three restaurants that keep them coming back, offering a glimpse into the eateries shaping how and where Southwest Florida conducts business — and builds community.

Tracy has lived in Naples for more than 48 years and said she and her husband define their favorite restaurants by cuisine, atmosphere and level of service.

“One of the things I love most about Naples is the diversity of its culinary scene,” she says.

Andre’s Steakhouse

Andre’s Steakhouse is by far my husband’s and our close friends’ favorite restaurant in Naples. Andre brings the tradition and flavor of a classic New York steakhouse to Naples. Perfectly cooked, premium cuts of beef and impeccable old-school service make us long-time loyalists. Andre’s consistently delivers a memorable dining experience that keeps us coming back — and if you are lucky, you get an Andre sighting.

Ocean Prime

My favorite side dish in Naples is the Jalapeño Au Gratin Potatoes at Ocean Prime. They feature thinly sliced potatoes layered with cream, Gruyère cheese, white pepper and just the right amount of jalapeño heat. It’s practically a meal on its own. Chef Vladimir consistently ensures the dish is prepared flawlessly, making it an absolute must-order every time I visit.

The Bar at Le Colonial

For a date night, my favorite spot is the bar at Le Colonial. The warm atmosphere, cozy booths and stunning 1920s Saigon-inspired decor create the perfect setting for conversation. One of my favorite menu items is the signature fried rice, Com Chien Dac Biet. Beautifully prepared and full of flavor — a meal in itself — it’s a perfect pairing with one of Le Colonial’s fantastic cocktails.
