Many designer clothing stores are coming soon or relocating this year at Waterside Shops in Naples.

“Waterside Shops continues to evolve to meet the needs of our community and we’re thrilled to announce the opening of the new Tory Burch store, as well as renovations and relocations of some of our cherished retail partners,” said Anne Fleming, general manager of Waterside Shops, 5415 Tamiami Trail N. “We look forward to continuing to provide Southwest Florida residents and guests the finest dining and shopping experiences.”

Although Tory Burch has operated the fashion label’s only Southwest Florida store at Waterside Shops for many years, the designer brand reopened in May at a larger boutique space between Chico’s and Evereve at the open-air luxury center. The namesake chain’s new 3,207-square-foot store showcases the designer’s chic, upscale women’s clothing, shoes and accessories. It’s in the original space of Lululemon, which relocated within the center last year to a larger suite previously occupied by Banana Republic.

A few other new designer name-brand clothing stores are under construction and preparing to open this fall. Veronica Beard, which offers a mix of cool, classic and chic styles of women’s clothing, shoes and home accessories, is coming to Tory Burch’s former 2,500-square-foot suite next to Chico’s.

Coming to the 1,563-square-foot space formerly occupied by Tina Stephens women’s boutique, Jenni Kayne is dedicated to California-inspired designs with clothing for women, children and men, including swim and beach attire, shoes and accessories, as well as the popular Oak Essentials line. Frances Valentine is bringing its apparel and accessories designed to feature the vintage style of founders Elyce Arons and Kate Spade in the 1,100-square-foot former space of Orlebar Brown.

A few other existing stores are relocating to new spaces within Waterside Shops.

Moving soon into the more visible suite that Peloton vacated between Lilly Pulitzer and True Food Kitchen on the mall’s eastern edge, Soma will continue offering intimate apparel for women in its new boutique. John Craig’s menswear shop will relocate from its space next to California Pizza Kitchen to Soma’s current suite.

The Kendra Scott store that opened in May 2021 is temporarily closed while undergoing a full renovation in order to better showcase the brand’s designer jewelry, personalized gifts and watches. Meanwhile, a temporary store for Kendra Scott is operating near Omega at the center of the mall.

These future openings follow additional changes earlier this year at Waterside Shops.

After a nearly nine-year hiatus at Waterside Shops, Paris-based Hermès opened in February in a new freestanding store built on the spot where Ralph Lauren operated for years before moving in 2021 to a new location on the other side of the retail center.

Swarovski completed its modern renovation in January to better showcase the brand’s fine jewelry, elegant watches and sparkling crystal creations. Tourneau luxury watch retailer rebranded as Bucherer, reflecting the Swiss brand’s acquisition of the American line.

Owned by The Forbes Company and anchored by Saks Fifth Avenue, Waterside Shops has more than 60 stores surrounding elegant water features. The shopping and dining destination is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
