Mario Furillo stands at Naples Beach Club, A Four Seasons Resort, where he recently represented buyers in a $23 million condominium purchase. The 21-year-old Realtor says the transaction is a career-defining milestone.
A 21-year-old Naples real estate associate experienced a life-changing moment with a recent real estate transaction of more than $23 million for a condominium at the new Naples Beach Club, A Four Seasons Resort.
“This is a runway for me. This is a runway for my career,” said Mario A. Furillo, who is hiring a financial adviser to help him manage at least a six-figure commission. Rather than spending his earnings, he wants to invest back into his business.
Furillo was in the right place at the right time when the prospective buyer registered on The Gogan Team’s website to see luxury condominiums in Naples. Furillo was the first in his office to connect and claim the inquiry.
“The Gogan Team was built on creating opportunities for agents to build successful careers,” said Claire Gogan, leader of The Gogan Team at eXp Realty in Naples. “We invest heavily in lead generation, training, systems and support because we believe talented agents deserve opportunities to grow. That’s what our team is all about.”
The Four Seasons Residences at Naples Beach Club include 58 beachfront condominiums overlooking the Gulf. A recent $23 million sale marked one of the development's highest-profile transactions.
The July 17 closing of the transaction is the second high-profile sale of the newly built Four Seasons Residences at Naples Beach Club. In late May, Naples entrepreneur Phil McCabe was the first to close on one of the 58 exclusive private beachside residences in three mid-rise buildings immediately north of the new Four Seasons hotel on Gulf Shore Boulevard North.
The recent buyers are Matthew and Kristen Esler, who acquired the 43-acre Saratoga Polo Club in upstate New York last year. It was a logical step for the Eslers, whose nearby Thirty Year Farm has become a leading New York breeding operation for racing thoroughbreds. Matt also is CEO of Esler Companies, a major affiliate of window replacement giant Renewal by Andersen.
“These are the nicest people I’ve ever worked with,” Furillo said.
The Eslers are going to wait to move to Naples until after it gets cold up north at their home on Lake George near Saratoga Springs, Furillo said.
The pool and amenity deck at Naples Beach Club are part of the new Four Seasons-branded residential development. A 21-year-old Naples Realtor recently closed a $23 million condominium sale at the property.
Joining The Gogan Team when he relocated from Ohio a few years ago at age 18, Furillo is climbing the real estate ladder in Naples. He left eXp Realty on a high note in July for the Naples-based Alfred Robbins Realty Group, where he anticipates additional local opportunities in luxury real estate.
“I’m really excited for Alfred Robbins,” he said. “There’s more opportunity for my brand, my personal brand.”
Furillo intends to use the fresh start to grow personally and keep building his professional portfolio.
“This is a natural move for me to just go and be a solo agent and, again, to use that compensation that I made to put it right back into my business because it’s going to 10X me five to 10 years from now,” he said. “But at least this puts me somewhere on the map and I can walk into an appointment now with some recognition.”
