The rebuilt Publix supermarket at 4601 Ninth St. N. in Naples opened July 2 after replacing the nearly 40-year-old Neapolitan Way location with a larger store featuring the grocer's latest design and expanded amenities.
The many Naples residents who felt as if the new Publix at Neapolitan Way has been talked about for 250 years are celebrating the July 2 opening of their new supermarket at 4601 Ninth St. N.
The nearly 40-year-old anchor store was razed in November 2024 and rebuilt on a slightly larger footprint with a mezzanine seating area, ramen bowl options and other features defining the latest prototype for the Florida-based supermarket chain.
The new store offers departments for grocery, dairy, frozen food, seafood, meat and fresh produce, as well as a full-service bakery, deli and pharmacy. Store hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
