Veronica LeBlanc is the vice presi­dent and office manager for Sanibel Captiva Community Bank’s Gateway office. As she is responsible for the bank’s business development, her focus is on the community.

“To me, exceptional customer service is the best way to establish and maintain strong customer relationships,” she says. “I want to be actively involved in the Gateway community and help maintain a connection between the bank and the community.”

LeBlanc’s community connec­tion includes the annual SanCap Bank Fourth of July cookout, which brings hundreds of Gateway cus­tomers and community members together for food and fun. She is also the treasurer for the Kiwanis Club of Fort Myers/Gateway, a member of the Local Chapters of Business Women, a SWFL Hispanic Chamber of Commerce board mem­ber, and a member of the Entrepre­neur Society of America.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

Life has its share of ups and downs. It’s not about how many times you fall, it’s about how many times you get up and move forward that counts.
