Deerfield Beach-based child care franchise The Learning Experience is opening two new locations in Southwest Florida this year. The first location at 1628 Skyline Blvd. in Cape Coral will open during the spring while a second is slated to open before the end of the year in Fort Myers, company officials announced.
The Learning Experience spaces will consist of 10,000-square-foot centers and up to 5,000-square-foot outdoor playgrounds. Each center is expected to employ around 30 staff members and certified teachers to serve upward of 180 local kids from 6 weeks old to 6 years old with child care, enrichment programs and early childhood education.
“We do all of the groundwork and set up franchisees for success as an independent franchise business owner,” said Jennifer Murray, senior vice president with The Learning Experience. “Our real estate team pinpoints the best location and works with developers to build, equip and set up the center. And we provide world-class training and ongoing operational support for franchisees to successfully run their business while making a positive difference in the lives of children and families in their community.”
Already operating more than 30 locations across Florida, the franchise plans to add 13 more centers throughout the state over the next two years. Ranked 68th out of the top 500 franchising companies by Entrepreneur magazine, The Learning Experience has more than 300 locations operating across the country and plans to open more than 100 new locations in select markets nationwide by the end of 2023.
