Naples-based Arthrex has expanded its partnership with the International Cartilage Regeneration & Joint Preservation Society to support research, education and training focused on helping patients maintain healthy joints. Arthrex will support the international organization's scientific meetings, surgical training and other educational programs. The partnership comes as Arthrex expands its technology for repairing damaged cartilage and treating joint problems while preserving a patient's existing joint when possible. Recent products include a device designed to secure damaged cartilage and custom 3D-printed guides that help surgeons perform certain knee procedures. The society has more than 1,000 members in 65 countries.
