The seventh annual Big Green EGGfest raised $33,600 for Southwest Florida children’s charities, bringing the event’s cumulative fundraising total to $196,600 since 2019. Hosted at Riverside Park in Bonita Springs, the barbecue festival attracted more than 1,000 attendees and featured chef competitions, grilling demonstrations, live entertainment and food tastings. Beneficiaries of this year’s event include the Northside Naples Kiwanis Club, United Way of Collier and the Keys, Rotary Club of Bonita Beach Sunset and Leadership Collier Foundation. The eighth annual Big Green EGGfest is scheduled for April 10, 2027.
