Cape Coral’s solid waste contractor, Waste Pro, will adjust residential trash, recycling and yard waste schedules beginning the week of Oct. 20. About 20% of households will see a change in their collection day, while commercial customers are unaffected. Postcards will be mailed to affected residents the week of Oct. 6. Though most days will remain the same, collection times may vary, and residents should set carts and yard waste out by 5 a.m. through Sept. 30 and by 6 a.m. starting Oct. 1.
