Naples-based Capital Wealth Advisors acquired Neptune Wealth, expanding its tax and financial planning services and adding advisers in Tampa and Wisconsin. Neptune’s former president, Mark Strey, joins Capital Wealth Advisors as senior vice president of tax and financial planning, while Jason Kaplan joins as an adviser of financial planning in Tampa. The acquisition adds Neptune’s tax-focused approach to Capital Wealth Advisors’ investment, estate planning and insurance services. Founded in 2004, Capital Wealth Advisors manages about $4.5 billion in assets and employs more than 75 professionals. The firm is headquartered in Naples and also has offices in Pennsylvania and North Carolina.
