Naples hosts third annual hot dog safari to aid charity

The third annual Naples Hot Dog Safari benefitting St. Matthew’s House takes place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 2. Six local restaurants are participating in the charity hot dog crawl. For a $10 donation, aspiring hot dog connoisseurs can register online to receive a scorecard for casting their votes for the best hot dog in Naples. Scorecards also are available at the St. Matthew’s House Thrift Store, 2601 Airport Pulling Road S., Naples and participating restaurants. The Hot Dog Safari kicks off at 11 a.m., and scorecards must be turned in by 5 p.m. at The Mini Bar at 1200 Central Ave., Suite 106, or on the website. A trophy ceremony presentation to the winning restaurant will follow.
