Collier building association launches women's council

The Collier Building Industry Association launched a Professional Women in Building Council, joining a national network affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders. The Naples-based chapter has attracted more than 80 members since its inaugural Women Who Build event Sept. 15. Cali Clardy of Refined Builders chairs the seven-member board, with Jessica Schneider of Visual Comfort & Co. serving as vice chair and Kim Schiller of Fuse Specialty Appliances & Plumbing as secretary. The council plans networking and professional development events, fundraising for the Collier Building Industry Foundation and a new Woman of Distinction recognition program.
