Community leaders, donors and David Lawrence Centers officials celebrate the opening of the Diermeier Access and Integrated Care Center on July 7 in Collier County. The new facility combines behavioral health and primary care services while expanding access to urgent behavioral health treatment.
David Lawrence Centers for Behavioral Health opened the 15,000-square-foot Diermeier Access and Integrated Care Center on its 6075 Bathey Lane campus, situated just east of Interstate 75, off Golden Gate Parkway, expanding access to behavioral health and primary care services under one roof. Dedicated July 7, the facility features a walk-in Behavioral Health Urgent Care, integrated outpatient care, medication-assisted treatment for substance use disorders and trauma-focused therapy for veterans. The center also includes expanded training space for nursing, counseling and social work interns. The project was funded through a $4 million gift from Jeffrey and Julie Diermeier, $5 million from the state and additional community donations.
