Jenna Persons-Mulicka named elections supervisor

Gov. Ron DeSantis appointed Jenna Persons-Mulicka as Lee County Supervisor of Elections, succeeding longtime elections chief Tommy Doyle.

Gov. Ron DeSantis appointed Jenna Persons-Mulicka as Lee County Supervisor of Elections. Persons-Mulicka, a founding partner at Strayhorn & Persons-Mulicka, is in her sixth year in the Legislature, where she represents District 78 and focuses on election law, government accountability and state security. She chairs the House PreK-12 Budget Subcommittee and has sponsored multiple election-related bills, including a 2026 measure tightening voter ID and citizenship verification requirements. She replaces longtime Supervisor Tommy Doyle, who recently retired, with Chief Deputy Bernie Feliciano, having served as acting supervisor.
