Estero advances Broadway Avenue West project

Village of Estero began the design phase for its Broadway Avenue West Safety and Drainage Project, aimed at improving roadway safety, drainage and pedestrian access west of U.S. 41. The effort will evaluate existing roadway conditions, open roadside ditches, pedestrian accommodations and overall operations to develop long-term improvements. Design work is expected to continue through October 2026, with no construction underway at this time. Residents may see surveying crews, traffic counts and soil testing along the corridor as engineers collect data and coordinate with utilities and regulatory agencies.
