FSW hires former UCLA assistant as basketball coach

Florida SouthWestern State College hired former UCLA assistant David Grace as head coach of its men's basketball program. Grace brings more than 25 years of coaching experience, including 14 years at the Division I level, with coaching stops at UCLA, Vanderbilt, California, Oregon State, San Francisco and Sacramento State. He helped guide teams to four NCAA Tournament appearances and recruited or developed 21 future NBA players. Most recently, Grace coached Campbell Hall High School in Los Angeles. Grace succeeds Darrin Wallace, who left for an assistant coaching position at Florida Gulf Coast University following a highly successful two-season tenure where he compiled a 41-19 record.
