Gulf Coast Humane Society opens veterinary clinic

The Gulf Coast Humane Society's new 10,000-square-foot veterinary clinic at 2025 Arcadia St. in Fort Myers expands access to wellness, surgical and specialty care services for pets and shelter animals.

Gulf Coast Humane Society completed a new 10,000-square-foot veterinary clinic at 2025 Arcadia St. in Fort Myers. Built by Stevens Construction, the facility includes eight exam rooms and space for surgeries, dental care, wellness services and specialized treatments. The expansion doubles the organization's capacity to serve pets and shelter animals while allowing more advanced care to be provided in-house. The project was completed in 10 months and is part of the nonprofit's $12 million Paws for Wellness campaign, which supports expanded access to affordable veterinary care and animal welfare services.
