Representatives of HELP and The Housing Alliance provide information about housing resources and programs in Collier County.
HELP received a $15,000 grant from the U.S. Bank Foundation to expand its Housing Navigator Program in Collier County. HELP, an affiliate of The Housing Alliance, will use the funding to expand homebuyer education, fair housing outreach and pre-purchase counseling for families seeking homeownership or affordable rentals. The program provides U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development-certified, bilingual financial counselors who help participants manage money, save for homeownership, find affordable rentals and prepare to qualify for a mortgage. HELP is a nonprofit counseling agency that provides free guidance and resources to low- and moderate-income households seeking greater financial stability.
