Patty Baker Humane Society Naples raised $40,675 through its inaugural The Real Housepets of Naples calendar contest, benefiting animals in its care. The competition, held Aug. 10 through Sept. 15, invited Southwest Florida pet owners to submit photos of their dogs and cats and collect votes for spots in the organization's 2027 calendar. Twelve pets earned featured months, with Theodore “Teddy” taking first place, followed by Püf, Mimi, Sam and Samson. Teddy will receive a professional photography session and first choice of calendar month. Proceeds will support shelter operations, veterinary care and other services for animals in need. Calendars are available for preorder.
