The Immokalee Fair Housing Alliance is preparing to welcome 16 new families as its second affordable housing building nears completion in January 2026. 

Immokalee Fair Housing Alliance will begin accepting applications Oct. 15 through Nov. 1 for affordable housing at 2070 Corazon de la Comunidad Circle in Immokalee. Sixteen families have already moved into the first of eight planned buildings, with another 16 units scheduled for completion in January 2026. A community center is also under construction and will open in spring 2026. Apartments include two- and three-bedroom units, with four set aside for residents with special needs. Applicants must earn less than 50% of the area median income, between $35,000 and $65,900 annually, and rent will be capped at 30% of income.
