Legacy Harbour Marina reopened along the Caloosahatchee River in downtown Fort Myers following an approximately $15 million redevelopment after Hurricane Ian. The 13-acre marina at 2044 W. First St. completed final inspections and is accepting reservations for its 131 slips. Construction began in early 2025 and was originally expected to finish this spring. The rebuilt marina features new docks, utilities, additional pilings and stronger breakwaters designed to improve storm resilience. An amenities lounge also is planned, while Nellie’s Boatyard restaurant is expected to open in December. Marina officials are planning a grand opening in October.
