Pro Football Hall of Famer and television host Michael Strahan will headline Grace Place for Children and Families' second annual Beyond the Bookshelf fundraiser on Dec. 3 at Grey Oaks Country Club, 2400 Grey Oaks Drive N. in Naples. The evening will feature dinner and a conversation with the former New York Giants defensive end and “Good Morning America” co-anchor, who is expected to discuss leadership, resilience and personal growth. Proceeds will support Grace Place's free English literacy and educational programs for children and families in Collier County. Individual tickets go on sale Aug. 1 here. The event begins at 5 p.m. and benefits the nonprofit's family-centered education programs.
