NAMI Collier receives $25K for children’s care

NAMI Collier County received a $25,000 grant from the Suncoast Credit Union Foundation to expand access to mental healthcare for children and teens in Collier County. The funding will support NAMI Collier’s HUGS Children’s Mental Health Program, which provides individualized interventions and other services to children and their families. The program served 794 children and their families last year. The contribution is part of a three-year grant supporting the program. Since its creation in 1990, the Suncoast Credit Union Foundation has donated more than $68 million to organizations and initiatives focused on children’s health, education and emotional well-being.
