Classic cars featured during Cars on Fifth

Cars on 5th previously filled Fifth Avenue South in downtown Naples with hundreds of vehicles. Naples City Council has approved a new, free automotive event for Feb. 27, 2027, featuring about 350 vehicles with a smaller footprint designed to preserve emergency access along the avenue.

Naples City Council approved a new automotive event for Fifth Avenue South on Feb. 27, 2027, following the city’s denial of a permit for the longtime Cars on 5th show. The free event, organized by the Fifth Avenue South Business Improvement District, will feature about 350 vehicles, along with luxury brand experiences, food and VIP offerings. Organizers say the smaller footprint will reduce vehicle density and preserve emergency access along the avenue. The permit anticipates about 20,000 attendees. Cars on 5th, which had been held downtown for more than two decades, is moving outside the city. Additional details, including the new event’s official name, vehicle registration and sponsorship opportunities, will be announced later.
