Emily E.D. Coffey
Naples Botanical Garden named Emily E.D. Coffey as its next president and CEO following a national search.
Coffey, currently vice president of conservation and research at the Atlanta Botanical Garden, will assume the role in October. She succeeds interim President and CEO Carl Crosetto, who assumed the role in December 2025 after Donna McGinnis left to become president and CEO of the Denver Botanic Gardens.
One of Southwest Florida's premier cultural attractions, the Garden spans 170 acres, including 90 acres of restored natural areas.
Coffey brings expertise in plant conservation, scientific research and botanical garden leadership, having also served on the biology faculty at the University of North Carolina Asheville and conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Oxford.
