A new omakase restaurant, Omasava, received its Certificate of Occupancy from the city of Naples and is set to open at 301 Fifth Ave. S., offering a chef-guided tasting experience rooted in Japanese tradition and modern artistry. Created by the team behind Sails Restaurant and Butcher Private, Omasava features a fossilized oak chef’s counter dating to 1,000 B.C. and a ceiling lined with vintage champagne bottles. Two nightly seatings at 5:30 and 8 p.m. present a seasonal, menu-free tasting journey priced at $298 per guest. Ingredients are sourced locally and from Tokyo’s renowned market. The restaurant also offers a private wine-cellar omakase room for up to 17 guests. Reservations are required and can be made at omasava.com.
