Bonita Springs City Hall, 9101 Bonita Beach Road SE, serves as the seat of municipal government for the city.
RiverFest will return to downtown Bonita Springs from 1 to 5 p.m. Aug. 1 after Bonita Springs City Council approved a special event permit June 17. The free, family-friendly festival will take place at Riverside Park and the Liles Hotel grounds, hosted by the Bonita Springs Downtown Alliance and local businesses. The event will feature live music, food trucks, vendors and activities throughout downtown, with shops, bars and restaurants participating. Organizers also are planning games and competitions on the Imperial River, including rubber duckie, canoe and kayak races. Proceeds from the festival will benefit Friends of BERT, the nonprofit advocacy group supporting the Bonita Estero Rail Trail.
