Collaboratory, in partnership with the Center for Progress and Excellence, has launched a crisis prevention data-sharing and quality-measurement pilot aimed at strengthening the quality, coordination and effectiveness of crisis mental health services across Southwest Florida. Collaboratory has invested $10,000 to support the development of a shared data infrastructure to improve the delivery of crisis care. The pilot was established as part of Collaboratory’s Health and Wellness Coalition’s broader strategy to improve access to timely and high-quality behavioral health care. This work directly supports one of the coalition’s key regional priorities: addressing the shortage of mental health providers. Through this pilot, CPE will implement standardized tracking of core crisis response indicators, which include emergency transport rates and follow-up.
