The Suncoast Credit Union Foundation awarded $245,000 to Champions for Learning to support student and educator programs in Collier County. The grant will help students prepare for future education and careers while providing educators with classroom resources and recognition opportunities. Suncoast has supported the Naples-based Education Foundation of Collier County for 27 years, beginning with its first contribution in 2000. The credit union funds its foundation by donating 4 cents each time a member uses a Suncoast debit or credit card. Since its founding in 1990, the foundation has donated more than $63 million to organizations and initiatives supporting children.
