Tito’s Cantina Mexican Restaurant in Cape Coral will close after three years in business. UFC Hall of Famer Tito Ortiz, who founded the restaurant in 2023, said challenges arose after a boating accident left him injured and requiring surgery, limiting his time at the business. Ortiz plans to spend the restaurant’s final week meeting customers, with food and drink specials and merchandise sales planned. Tito’s Cantina will hold a final fight night Saturday and serve customers for the last time Sunday before closing Monday. The owners also are inviting anyone interested in purchasing the restaurant to speak with them during the final week, WINK News reports.
