Wawa awards $15K to Harry Chapin Food Bank

The Wawa Foundation has awarded $15,000 to Harry Chapin Food Bank of Southwest Florida to support programs providing nutritious meals and snacks to children. The grant is part of $1.684 million awarded to 40 Feeding America food banks through Wawa’s Fly Beyond program. Wawa also supports the food bank through its Buy a Kids Meal, Make an Impact initiative, which generates a donation to the Feeding America food bank serving the community whenever a customer purchases a Wawa Kids Meal. Since launching the initiative in 2024, Wawa has donated more than $1.86 million to participating food banks.
