Austin, Texas-based Yeti Holdings will expand its drinkware lineup with a $38 million cash purchase of designs, tooling and intellectual property tied to the Helimix branded shaker bottle, a product developed in Punta Gorda.
The asset deal, disclosed with third-quarter results, positions Yeti to launch a U.S.-made shaker that removes the traditional mixing ball and targets the fast-growing market for protein and hydration mixes. Helimix, known for its hexagonal vortex design and strong online following, is expected to cease operations as Yeti readies an updated model.
The transaction closed in August, according to company filings.
Sarasota firm Rework Capital led, advised and supported Helimix through its transaction, alongside the company’s investment banker. Before the transaction, Rework Capital, through its fractional services, also helped Helimix scale. The firm began advising Helimix in 2023.
Yeti reported $1.83 billion in 2024 sales and says the Helimix assets support margin-accretive growth and its broader push into sport, health and wellness.
