AIDS Healthcare Foundation hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony Aug. 1 to celebrate the opening of a new all-in-one location in Fort Myers, expanding access to ongoing primary medical care for those living with HIV. The facility at 2320 Cleveland Ave. will house medical and mental health services, a pharmacy, free sexually transmitted disease testing and treatment, a food pantry and case management under one roof. Florida Department of Health statistics show more than 2,500 individuals were living with HIV in Lee County in 2022.
