The city of Fort Myers agreed to sell a 47-acre site at 4540 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., just east of Interstate 75, to Fort Myers-based Suncoast Beverage Sales for $9 million, with the company also agreeing to cover pollution remediation. The land previously housed the city’s fire department’s training tower. City Council voted 5-2 in favor of the bid from the company that distributes Anheuser-Busch across Southwest Florida.
