A groundbreaking ceremony took place Thursday for the $100 million Bimini Square mixed-use project expected to span from Cape Coral Parkway to Palm Tree Drive and Sunset Court  in downtown Cape Coral. Sitting on 6 acres of land overlooking the Bimini Basin, the development west of Four Freedoms Park will include 218 residential units, a waterfront restaurant and more than 58,000 square feet of nonresidential space. Developers expect the project to be completed in fall 2025.
