Construction began on a 25-acre Class A industrial park comprised of two buildings in south Fort Myers, just south of Southwest Florida International Airport, officials from Ambrose Property Group said. Located on Airport Haul Road, Alico Itec Logistics Park comprises a 195,000-square-foot Building I and a 185,000-square-foot Building II. Both buildings will seek Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification and be ready for tenant fixturing by the first quarter of 2025. The buildings are designed for bulk distribution and local and regional distribution. The general contractor is Hernandez Construction, the architect is HNM Architecture, and Lee & Associates will handle marketing and leasing for the park. Ambrose has partnered with Wintrust Bank on the construction loan. The initial investment in the park is estimated to be $62 million.
