Evangelical Christian School Inc. purchased the 110,000-square-foot former Hodges University campus, 4501 Colonial Blvd. and 4445 Winkler Ave. in Fort Myers, from UDP Gemini One LLC for $28.6 million. Justin Thibaut, CCIM, and Christi Pritchett, CCIM, of LSI Companies Inc. represented the seller, and Randy Krise, CCIM, of Krise Commercial Group represented the buyer. Hodges University, originally founded in Naples as International College in 1990 and moved to the Fort Myers campus in mid-2020,announced in August 2023 that it would be closing. City of Fort Myers discussed purchasing the location for a new city hall in January before being informed the property was under contract.
