Florida brought in $215.4 million more than anticipated in general-revenue tax collections in September, 5.7% more than projected, according to a report from the Legislature’s Office of Economic & Demographic Research. The state collected nearly $3.97 billion in general revenue in September. Sales-tax revenues came in at $115.8 million more than the state’s projection, while corporate income taxes checked in at $61.7 million higher than projections.
