Rio Pizzeria brings Brazilian-style pizza to the Naples area. The new pizza place launched Thursday in the former Pete’s Pizzeria unit at Olympia Park, off Airport-Pulling Road just south of Vanderbilt Beach Road in North Naples. Brazilian pizza, including Portuguese pizza, has a thin crust that can be filled with catupiry, a soft cheese popular in Brazil. The menu includes sweet dessert pizzas such as Brigadeiro with a creamy chocolate. Rio, 2400 Vanderbilt Beach Road, Suite 104, is open 11 a.m. to 9:30 pm. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 pm. Friday and Saturday.
