SoZo Wellness Pharmacy is celebrating its grand opening and ribbon-cutting event from 2-3 p.m. Jan. 19 at 3510 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Fort Myers. SoZo focuses on improving health care and social outcomes in underserved communities through exposure to integrative approaches to healing. Dr. Shadreka McIntosh, a fifth-generation Dunbar resident, operates SoZo Wellness. She is a Doctor of Pharmacy and has a Master of Science in integrative medicine. Collaboratory, with the collaboration of Catalyst Community Capital Inc. approved SoZo Wellness Pharmacy as its first impact investment to fund a wellness pharmacy in Dunbar.
