Workers in Florida who have stayed in their job for at least 12 months saw their wages increase by 5% year over year in May, according to an ADP Insights Report. The report is a pay measure that captures the salaries of the same cohort of almost 10 million individual employees over a 12-month period. Florida’s median annual salary reached $51,7000 last month. Additionally, the data shows younger job-stayers, including this year’s recent graduates, are seeing higher pay growth than older age groups. The 16-24 age group experienced an 11.6% jump in pay growth in the last year, while age 25-34 saw a 7.1% increase. Age 35-54 and 55 and older had 4.9% and 3.3% increases, respectively.
