Herc Holdings reports record revenue for third quarter

Bonita Springs-based Herc Holdings Inc. reports record revenue and profits during financial results for the third quarter that ended Sept. 30. Equipment rental revenue increased 29.2% to $519.6 million and total revenues increased 20.5% to $550.4 million in the third quarter of 2021, compared to $402.3 million and $456.7 million, respectively, for the same period last year. “We achieved another record for total revenues and adjusted EBITDA in the third quarter of 2021,” says Larry Silber, president and chief executive officer. The company reported net income of $72.3 million, or $2.37 per diluted share, in the third quarter of 2021, compared to $39.9 million, or $1.35 per diluted share, in the same 2020 period. Third-quarter 2021 adjusted net income was $72.7 million, or $2.38 per diluted share, compared to $39.8 million, or $1.35 per diluted share, in 2020.
