7 Brew has opened its second Southwest Florida drive-thru coffee stand in south Fort Myers, with new locations planned in Punta Gorda and near Edison Mall in Fort Myers.
7 Brew Drive Thru Coffee, which began in 2017 in Northwest Arkansas, has found a new home in Southwest Florida.
In less than a decade, the privately owned coffee company and franchise has grown from seven locations in 2020 to 38 in 2023 and now more than 850 across 38 states in 2026.
7 Brew cut the ceremonial ribbon Sept. 29 for its 95th location in Florida and second in Southwest Florida. It’s at 9101 College Parkway in south Fort Myers, near the Cape Coral Bridge and just east of McGregor Boulevard.
At the ceremony, 7 Brew Fort Myers presented a $6,662 check to Valerie’s House to celebrate joining the community. The money was raised during the stand’s Sept. 25-27 “Caffeine for a Cause” event, when customers could try a limited menu and make a donation of their choice.
“This is a great location,” said Madden Montgomery, director of store openings. “It’s the best of both worlds. We’re right across the bridge on College Parkway here. So, we’ve got Cape Coral residents coming across the bridge on their commute to work in the morning. We have really easy access for everybody in the community.”
The first regional 7 Brew opened in September 2025 at 4275 Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte.
More are on the way.
7 Brew employees and community members gather for a ribbon-cutting Sept. 29 at the drive-thru coffee chain’s new location at 9101 College Parkway in south Fort Myers. The company, which opened its first Southwest Florida stand in Port Charlotte in 2025, has two more regional locations planned in Punta Gorda and Fort Myers.
One is being planned for 1225 Tamiami Trail in Punta Gorda and is slated to open in November.
Site development is underway for one at 4102 Cleveland Ave., across from Edison Mall in Fort Myers. That one is scheduled to open Nov. 30, Montgomery said.
Each location costs about $2 million to build and open, he said. The buildings are 510 square feet and are prefabricated in two pieces — the ground level and the “muffin top” rooftop, which is used for storage — and then delivered to the site and installed.
While a typical coffee shop can take several months to build, a 7 Brew site can go from a vacant concrete pad to an operational coffee “stand,” as the company prefers to call it, in 48 to 72 hours.
7 Brew offers up to 20,000 different drink combinations. The name comes from its “7 original” flavors: the Blondie, a caramel and vanilla breve; the Brunette, a hazelnut and caramel mocha; Smooth 7, a white chocolate and Irish cream breve; Cinnamon Roll, made with white chocolate and brown sugar cinnamon; White Chocolate Mocha; German Chocolate with coconut and caramel mocha; and Sweet & Salty, a salted caramel and white chocolate breve.
7 Brew also offers energy drinks; teas, chai and matcha; smoothies; shakes; lemonades; and 7 Fizz sodas.
The first Lee County location hired about 90 employees. Some of them will shift to the new Fort Myers location after it opens. Most locations tend to have about 70 employees. Operating hours are 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
“Aside from great drinks and a wide variety of products, we pride ourselves on customer interactions,” Montgomery said. “We really pride ourselves on the relationship that we create with our customers. We believe that customer service is sometimes more important than a drink. We believe in cultivating kindness and putting smiles on people’s faces.”
