Cooper Hotels, a Memphis, Tennessee-based hospitality development and management company, acquired two Hilton-branded hotels in Bonita Springs, expanding its footprint in Southwest Florida.
The company announced Jan. 23 that it purchased the Homewood Suites by Hilton Bonita Springs Naples North and the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Bonita Springs Naples North. The acquisitions bring Cooper Hotels’ total holdings in the Naples area to four properties, joining Hilton Naples and Hampton Inn by Hilton Naples Central, and give the company eight Hilton-branded hotels across Southwest Florida.
Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
Cooper Hotels is a privately owned hotel development and management company founded in 1959. The company owns and manages 19 Hilton branded hotels in four states. Its portfolio includes three Hilton hotels, seven DoubleTree by Hilton hotels, three Homewood Suites by Hilton hotels, two Hilton Garden Inn hotels, three Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton and one Embassy Suites by Hilton.
The four-story Homewood Suites, 8901 Highland Woods Blvd., has 106 suites and recently underwent renovations. The property offers full kitchens, separate living areas, complimentary hot breakfast and evening socials Monday through Thursday, free Wi-Fi, an outdoor pool and meeting space.
Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Bonita Springs Naples North, at 27900 Crown Lake Blvd., is shown in Bonita Springs. The three-story, 92-room hotel was acquired by Memphis-based Cooper Hotels, expanding the company’s portfolio to eight Hilton-branded properties across Southwest Florida.
The three-story Hampton Inn & Suites, 27900 Crown Lake Blvd., includes 92 guest rooms and features complimentary breakfast and Wi-Fi, an outdoor pool, a 24-hour fitness center, a business center and meeting rooms.
“Bonita Springs is a vibrant and resilient market with a diverse mix of tourism, health care, and business activity,” said Pace Cooper, president and CEO of Cooper Hotels. “We see these two successful hotels as long-term assets that will continue to support the local economy, provide quality accommodations for visitors and hospitality jobs in the community.”
Cooper Hotels plans to retain the Hilton brands and continue day-to-day operations, with a focus on enhancing service quality, employee development and community engagement.
The acquisitions follow Cooper Hotels’ recent expansion in the region, including the October purchase of Hampton Inn Naples Central. The company said the high-growth North Naples area and its long-term investment potential were key drivers behind the latest additions to its portfolio.
