Naples Grande Beach Resort

Naples Grande Beach Resort will begin a major renovation in April 2026, transforming guest rooms, dining and amenities.

Nearly four decades after opening its doors on Florida’s Paradise Coast, Naples Grande Beach Resort is preparing for a major transformation aimed at redefining luxury hospitality along the Gulf.

The 474-room beachfront resort announced plans for a comprehensive renovation that will reimagine guest rooms and suites, expand dining options, modernize the lobby, revitalize the spa and upgrade event and pool spaces. The renovation is scheduled to begin April 1, 2026, with a reopening planned by year’s end.

The project follows the property’s 2022 acquisition by London-based hotel investment firm Henderson Park, which paid a combined $248 million for the room resort, its 18-hole golf course and 15-court tennis center. At the time, the purchase marked a 46% increase in value since the property last changed hands in 2013, reflecting Naples’ rising position in the international luxury hospitality market.

“After nearly four decades as one of Southwest Florida’s most celebrated resorts, this transformation represents a renewed commitment to excellence,” said David Cesario, vice president and managing director of Naples Grande Beach Resort. “We are creating a world-class destination that will continue to reflect the spirit of Naples while offering an elevated experience for future generations of guests.”

The resort, first opened in 1987, will remain open until construction begins. Several amenities will continue operating during the renovation, including Rhode’s End restaurant, Clam Pass beach services, select villas, the Naples Tennis Academy and the Naples Grande Golf Club.

Resort officials said the project is expected to provide long-term benefits for the Naples community by creating construction jobs, stimulating tourism and drawing new visitors to the region. The renovation will include measures to minimize disruptions to nearby neighborhoods and local traffic.

Guests with reservations during the construction period will be contacted directly and offered the option to modify or cancel their bookings. Updates will be shared through the resort’s website and social media channels.

Set among 200 acres of mangroves and overlooking 3 miles of white sand beach, Naples Grande Beach Resort remains one of Southwest Florida’s premier destinations for leisure and business travelers alike.
