New restaurants
Eddie V’s, a luxury dining destination from Darden Restaurants, opened June 7 on the southwest corner of the open-air mall. The brand is known for its fresh seafood flown-in from around the world, premium hand-carved steaks and live jazz nightly in its V Lounge.
The freestanding 9,991-square-foot restaurant in an extensively renovated bank office on the corner of Seagate Drive and Myra Janco Daniels Boulevard is one of three major new restaurants coming to the upscale center. Construction projects on the other side of the mall are readying two other dining destinations.
The former longtime space of Brio Italian Grille is barricaded while work is being done to transform the 7,617-square-foot unit into Buck & Rider, a restaurant planning to feature locally sourced seafood and ingredients while incorporating carefully sourced international seafood. The restaurant is targeted to open in early 2027.
Meanwhile, Naples-based DeAngelis Diamond is making progress daily on building a nearly 30,000-square-foot Restoration Hardware campus on the former footprint of Nordstrom department store, which closed in 2020. The new project features a collection of galleries with upscale home furnishings connected via landscaped walkways to a central RH Naples restaurant in a glass atrium. RH hopes to open near the end of this year.

New retailers
In addition to the highly anticipated RH, other new or refreshed retail opportunities are materializing throughout Waterside Shops.
On June 11, Dior stepped out of its longtime store-within-a-store model at Saks Fifth Avenue to a 6,000-square-foot suite that creates more visibility for its luxury fashion, accessories, fragrance and beauty lines. The new Dior boutique took part of the inline space vacated from kitchenware retailer Williams Sonoma moving out to an outparcel spot, as well as some other adjoining smaller units for other retailers that closed or relocated within Waterside.
Luxury retailers coming this fall include Love Shack Fancy, described by Waterside Shops as “a global fashion, beauty, home and lifestyle brand created to celebrate love and revel in the beauty of a flower-filled, rose-colored world.” Its new 1,356-square-foot suite on the mall’s eastern edge combines the adjacent former units of Häagen-Dazs and L’Occitane en Provence, which closed at the end of May.

Directly across from Love Shack Fancy, new spaces are being readied for Vuori and Anthropologie in parts of the inline space vacated by Pottery Barn this year when it joined Williams Sonoma in a two-story outparcel on the northwest corner of U.S. 41 and Seagate Drive.
A temporary storefront graphic announces Vuori's upcoming arrival at Waterside Shops in Naples. The California-based athletic apparel brand plans to open this fall.
Vuori is an anticipated new addition to Waterside featuring its trademarked “styled for life” athletic and performance wear for men and women. Its new 4,000-square-foot suite is targeted to open this fall next to a new 8,500-square-foot home for Anthropologie, which also is taking the unit recently vacated by Ann Taylor. Anthropologie will move from its large space on the northern edge of the mall to continue offering clothing, jewelry, home furniture, decorations, beauty products and gifts.
Peter Millar will open a new store in the former White House Black Market space at Waterside Shops in Naples. The retailer specializes in premium sportswear and golf apparel.
Piranesi also is opening its fine jewelry store this fall across from Dior in the 781-square-foot unit recently vacated by Gulf Coast International Properties. Peter Millar is bringing its stylish sportswear and golf attire to the former 2,517-square-foot White House Black Market.

Omega’s former 2,519-square-foot space will be the new home of Van Cleef & Arpels, another retailer of fine jewelry and watches.
