Add wallets to the ever-growing list of products—televisions to smartwatches—marketed as “smart.” The Ekster Senate wallet, the thinnest in the marketplace, can protect credit cards from electronic theft.

Ekster debuted in 2019 via the Kickstarter campaigns of college students in Amsterdam. Its wallets are made with sustainable leather and have radio frequency identification (RFID) protection, preventing individuals bent on data theft from swiping your information.

Ekster wallets also include solar-powered tracker cards. The feature enables the wallet owner to call their phone or wallet to track it on a map. Take a selfie with the tracker and connect to a preferred virtual assistant.

It exhibits both minimalism and variety, with a small profile—measurements are 4.1” x 2.3” x 0.3”—and multiple available colors and patterns. The wallet holds seven cards and has a strap for cash. Click a tiny button for easy access to all enclosed cards.

Ekster promotes the Senate, like its several other lifestyle-simplifying products, as “Sustainable, Durable, Reliable.”
