The relaunch of La Colmar Bakery & Bistro in Naples is the comeback story of the year.
On Tuesday, Ana and Yannick Brendel are reopening the business they created in 2017 but then lost in a business deal. Years later, they have reunited with their original concept and venue across from Wynn’s Market on the southeast corner of U.S. 41 and First Avenue North. La Colmar shares the building with Grappino restaurant.
“We look forward to welcoming you back after five long years with open arms. We can’t wait for you to try our latest culinary creations and indulge in your La Colmar favorites,” Ana says.
Expect baked goods such as croissants, baguettes, eclairs and other pastries created in its open bakery with flour imported from France, where third-generation baker Yannick Brendel began his career. La Colmar’s menu includes omelets, crepes, quiches, tartines, tapas, charcuterie, sandwiches, salads and soups.
The local business will offer an extensive to-go catering menu, birthday and wedding cakes, as well as a wholesale menu with fresh baked goods for other restaurants and country clubs. For home delivery, La Colmar is launching an e-commerce website featuring favorite items that customers can bake wherever at home.
The new bakery and bistro, which has seating inside and outside, will be open 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, and closed Mondays.
