The 63rd annual NCH Hospital Ball is being rescheduled from its original date of Nov. 6 to April 2, 2022, due to COVID-19. Dr. Douglas and Dianna Harrington are chairing the event. Hospital Ball proceeds will benefit the Judith and Marvin Herb Family Simulation Center at NCH Baker Hospital Downtown. The new 10,000-square-foot simulation center will deliver medical simulation training. The center’s human-like robotic “patients” provide real-world medical scenarios that allow NCH medical interns and medical personnel to perform procedures while experiencing the simulated physical and emotional responses of their robotic patients. The NCH Hospital Ball will include entertainment, a cocktail reception, silent and live auction and formal dinner and dancing. The evening also will include recognition of NCH Physician of the Year and Nurses of the Year honorees and include a special recognition of healthcare heroes. Tickets are $500 per person and a variety of sponsorships are available. For more information on the NCH Hospital Ball or to learn about available sponsorship and underwriting opportunities, call (239) 624-2019 or visit nchmd.org/hospitalball.
